The editorial pays homage to the 1980 John Cassavetes film ‘Gloria’ where Gena Rowlands plays the titular heroine who’s been tasked with protecting a six-year old boy from gangland killers. In 1999, Sharon Stone appeared in a remake of ‘Gloria’ which was directed by Sydney Lumet.
